In just two years, The Bailey Center has grown into a vital hub for families across Southside Virginia.
Serving individuals ages 3 to 79, we provide inclusive programming, life skills training, recreation,
caregiver education, and transition support — all at no cost to families. Our growth reflects a simple
truth: the need is real, and it is increasing. To continue meeting that need, we must expand.
A direct gift by cash, check, or credit card is the simplest way to support The Bailey Center.
Immediate contributions help sustain programs and services that benefit individuals with special
needs and their families.
A multi-year pledge allows donors to make a larger impact by committing a gift that is fulfilled over several years. This option provides flexibility while helping The Bailey Center plan for long-term growth and program expansion.
A donor advised fund allows individuals to recommend grants to The Bailey Center through a
charitable account they have established with a sponsoring organization or financial institution. It is a simple and tax-efficient way to support the causes you care about.
Individuals age 70½ or older may choose to make a qualified charitable distribution directly from
their IRA to The Bailey Center. These gifts can satisfy required minimum distributions while
potentially offering tax advantages.
Donations of goods or professional services can directly support the work of The Bailey Center.
Examples may include equipment, supplies, materials, or skilled services that help enhance
programs and reduce operating costs.
