The Bailey Center for Special Needs provides a partnership among FEAT (Families Embracing Autism Together), community members, service providers, and various other support staff who collaborate to offer a highly engaging and sensory friendly space for participants to interact and learn in an environment that is safe and educational.
The center will include a sensory room, life skills area, and observation room which will allow staff and service providers the opportunity to engage with participants in areas that promote active learning, free play, and self-expression. These skills promote independence and growth opportunities for participants and provide opportunities for individuals to gain valuable life skill . The center offers training sessions for educators, parents, and caregivers, and hosts summer camps and support programs for those individuals participating in the program. The Bailey Center provides a variety of opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as well as many resources and opportunities for caregivers and educators.
